Vaughn Hebron  was an all-conference running back  at Virginia Tech  and came to this area when he was playing for the Philadelphia Eagles (1992-1996).  He then moved on to the Denver Broncos where he was the all time leading kick returner (1996-2000) and won two Super Bowls (XXXII and XXXIII).  While playing with the Broncos, Vaughn maintained his  Philadelphia residency because he loved the area.

Vaughn is currently the Founder/CEO of VMS Movement Specialists, LLC in Newtown, PA and Marketing Associate of Athletes & Entertainers with the Seiler Group of Raymond James.  Vaughn spent his professional football career with two really great teams and was fortunate enough to win the Superbowl twice. What he missed the most when he retired from the NFL was the camaraderie that he and his teammates built both on and off the field.

When he opened VMS in 2005, he knew that he wanted to create the same environment for himself and his clients that he benefited from as an athlete.  There was no way that his second career was going to be any less! He has the opportunity every day to live vicariously through his clients while providing guidance and support to help them reach fitness goals that they never knew were possible.  Through the relationships that he has built at VMS, his clients have become his extended family:  so witnessing their success is a success for him as well!

As a professional athlete, Vaughn Hebron was fortunate enough to play with two great teams and to become a two-time Super Bowl champion.  The best parts of it all were the strong relationships that he built with his teammates and the camaraderie they formed both in and outside the locker room.  Whether they won or lost the game, Vaughn and his teammates were rooting for one another and depending on each other for support.  Now as the Founder/CEO of VMS Movement Specialists he continues to live out his dream:  being the coach for his clients who have all joined the winning VMS team!!!!

Philosophy

The VMS mission is to provide the most comprehensive fitness program in the world… Our belief that no matter what their age, physical deficiencies, background or current fitness level, the body was made to move:  And VMS will help you move it efficiently and free of injury.  Unlike most fitness facilities in the country, VMS provides each client with a dynamic warm-up which ncludes functional movement.  This is essential to the VMS experience and begins the transformation of your body and the way it moves through space and time.

Functional training mimics daily activities that you will perform in real life.  Whether you are an elite athlete, a weekend warrior or a stay-at-home mom wanting to improve overall fitness, functional training will help you increase flexibility, strengthen your core and have better balance and muscular control in your daily activities.  Following the warm-up, all clients go through a series of strength training exercises, core exercises, footwork, agility and/or conditioning exercises depending on the training cycle. 

There is no other training facility that offers such a hands-on, intimate training experience.  Whether you are in a group workout or in a one on one session, Vaughn leads every client through every single workout.  All Vaughn asks is that you show up and give him your effort.  It is his desire to provide unwavering guidance and support for you along the way and to help you reach your fitness goals.

VMS HIGHLIGHTS

V BODY

Similar to our comprehensive fitness programs, we offer V BODY, an all-inclusive lifestyle and weight management program.  You are already training like an athlete, now it is time to transform your body.  No matter how challenging your workout is, you need proper nutrition to re-shape your body.  The V BODY nutrition and weight management plan was designed to teach you important components of nutrition and behavior change that you can incorporate into your current eating plan and to provide daily encouragement as you make better choices.  With our support, and your effort and determination, you will build the foundation for success.  This is not a fad diet, but a healthy eating program that you can use for the rest of your life without feeling hungry or deprived.  With the V BODY plan you will eat more often so you are never hungry, always combine fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains and complex carbohydrates with a lean source of protein, and drink plenty of water.  With some minor tweaks to your current eating habits, you will be able to speed up your metabolism, build lean muscle, feel more energized and give your body the chance to look and feel its best. 

The 8-week program includes the following:

Initial Assessment

The initial assessment takes place at your home.  We feel that it is extremely important to begin the 8-week program with a variety of fitness assessments and a “before” photograph.  This is an ideal way to set a baseline fitness level that will motivate you to reach your goals. 

1. Before” Photo

You will keep this photo with you during the 8 weeks.  You can put it on your refrigerator or place it anywhere you wish as a reminder that you have the strength and ability to transform your current state of mind and body. 

2. Fitness Assessments

You will weigh in, take skin fold measurements, body-fat percentage, resting heart rate, blood pressure, a flexibility test, muscular endurance tests and a cardiovascular endurance test.

3. Nutritional Assessment

We will discuss your current eating plan, likes and dislikes, take a look at your cabinets and refrigerator, and offer suggestions that will work for you.  We will also provide a grocery list and highlight healthy options from your favorite restaurant menus.

Re-Assessment
This is the most exciting part of the journey! After 8 weeks of hard work, we will take another photo and conduct an additional round of fitness assessments. There will be tangible evidence of your transformation that you will see with your own eyes. With V BODY, you will learn that you have the ability to change your body from ordinary to extraordinary and to continue your new lifestyle!
